Dogs everywhere!
Lots of power outages throughout the day, so everyone has a generator! And you even have to use bottled water to brush your teeth! Seems a lot of the young people go overseas to earn money and send it home...saw a lot of Nepalese in the Malaysian hotel industry
But what amazing people though that you can trust...I had to come back to collect 200 rupees change and the husband of the lady I had dealt with didn't even question me asking for the change; I collected my shoes at the cobbler without even a receipt, and the same for our clothes from the corner store laundromat (one room grocery store with a washing machine...though she was a bit late but very apologetic)...and the guys at the hotels have been so friendly and bent over backwards to help
