2015-3-14 another chill day
The quintessential Asian lunch view...flowers painted on the floor, tinsel (left), solar bobbing flower, banana curry, real coconut and chess
Coca cola written in Thai
The hotel swimming pool surrounded by Thai architecture
Scott and the hotel dog dummy (means dark/black in Thai)
Went out to find a massage place (they are streawened everywhere!) and thankfully Scot had a good guy massage him!
Then not so impressive Korean food at a noisy restaurant
Then a half punt of Guinness...which was smaller than my Thai iced tea (tastes like a cold version of the Malaysian Teh Tarik)
Then dessert along the river...sweet dumplings in ginger tea and wierd pink things in coconut milk
And the worst dessert on the menu...beans
It's sad to see how many scantily clad women there are outside all the karaoke bars

2015-3-13 chillin in Chiang Mai
After a chill morning in the hotel pool we went out for lunch on the scooter to a place frequented by local youth.
We then popped over to what seemed to be the main temple, as you actually had to pay to get it. We enjoyed some time meditating and temple people watching...an interesting mix of locals, foreigners and foreigners married to locals.

Then juice and cinnamon bun at a board game cafe! We braved the we game 'Pandemic', but ultimately killed the world through an epidemic started in the Middle East, while Scott tried to save a chaotic North American and I was generally messin about in Asia.
Then I rode the bike on the main roads!!! I think Scott nearly died of a heart attack but we made it home safely with his patience!
Then oven baked pizza and chess for dinner
